Students´ "thankyou" to the lecturers of Mariánské Lázně

Dear Mr. Hála,

I can´t help it, and with great pleasure I must write to you. I also know from personal experience as a teacher that there are not many praise messages. I would like to thank you and your colleagues many times for taking care of my daughter Štěpánka Vosická. I saw it wrong when the schools closed in March, but your colleagues took up online teaching without any problems, they are great. Well, now after the admissions (after last year's fiasco), we are very happy... Štěpánka got into all the general medicine courses she applied for (Prague, Hradec, Plzeň), but most importantly - thanks to you - she got into Dentistry at the First Faculty of Medicine in Prague, she was 22nd in the order. We are very happy.

We thank you all very much once again and wish many successful graduates in the future.

Dear Ms. Bytelová,

I would like to thank you for the whole school year and for the opportunity to prepare for the entrance exams. It helped me a lot, I gained a lot of new information, and above all, I completed the knowledge I lacked. What I wanted most was to go to Faculty of Medicine in Plzeň, where I really got and will be starting in autumn. I also passed the admission exams to the Faculty of Science, the programme of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of Organisms.

My dear Ms. Rollová, my mummy,

I would like to start by saying that my family was against me going 2000 kilometres to study. My grandmother used to tell me it would be very difficult because I am a foreigner. The year in Mariánské Lázně is very difficult for every student, but for me it was the most important in my whole life, because it was my decision and my dream. You cannot imagine the role you played in my life during the first year in the Czech Republic. You cannot imagine how much strength and love you gave me, how much warmth and happiness, how much help and words I needed in difficult moments. You can't be without a family, and that's why I'm happy that I have two now and I appreciate it a lot. "My problems are my problems, your problems are also my problems," you said. I would like to be as strong and have such a big and kind heart like you. I could never have done it on my own without you. Now a new step begins in my life, I have my wings and in a moment I will start my flight, but in my heart I will always have my most beautiful and loving Czech mother, who gave me wings and that strength. 

I would like to thank you for being in my life.

I still don't know how to find all the right words to thank you as fully as you deserve. I know you always tell us it's just your job, but what you've done for us isn't just work. During that year, you not only taught us a little Czech, but became a guide to adulthood for most people, which is why we will always remember you as our Czech Alma-mother. But if we disregard (probably let) the fact that you are our teacher, then the fact remains that you are one of the most interesting, smartest, most sincere people, according to the model of which every person gets excited.

our time together is coming to an end. So I would really like to thank you very much. I am forever grateful for what you have taught me. It was not only Czech, which of course I cannot do without in the Czech Republic, but also a lot of different lessons from life. My year here was really great and you were an important part of it. I will remember our Czech language lessons all my life. Whenever I needed your help, you were there for me. You looked after us like after your own children and it could be seen every day.
